Nonresidential Treatment Programs
AIA is dedicated to improving addiction treatment by bringing advanced, modern treatment programs, regimens, policies, applications, techniques and medication to the treatment community through a system of publication, education, training and consultative services. Addiction treatment programs address the needs of individuals who are dependent on a variety of substances or behaviors that threaten their life and/or well-being. These include addictions to alcohol and other legal and illegal substances.

FIRST OFFENDER DRIVER: Alcohol Education Program
• Client is referred by probation to our office upon disposition by the court
• AIA will pick up the client within 20 minutes at the referring court
• Client will be driven to the AIA office and evaluated within the first hour
• Client will start driver alcohol education within the week
• Evaluations will be sent monthly to probation during the 16-week course
• Weekly AIA staff visits to probation
• Constant communication with probation is a principal part of our philosophy
• Requirements:
o One classroom session per week, 16 weeks
o Attendance at two AA meeting during the 16 week period
o Attendance at one Brains At Risk meeting during the 16 week period
• Fees: 1st Offender Alcohol Education Program:
o $567.00 – 16 weeks
o $200 down - $35 per week.
o Payment plans available upon request
SECOND OFFENDER DRIVER: Alcohol Treatment Program
• Client is referred by probation to our office upon disposition by the court
• Random urine and breathalyzer testing will take place throughout treatment program
• Evaluations will be sent monthly to probation during the 20-week program
• Weekly AIA staff visits to probation
• Constant phone communication with probation is a principle part of our philosophy
• Requirements:
o One counseling session per week, 20 weeks
• Fees: 2nd Offender Alcohol Treatment Program:
o $599 all inclusive
o $200 down - $35 per week
COGNITIVE BEHAVIOR: Lifestyle Change
• Lifestyle change combined with the Twelve Step program approach solidifies and strengthens the driver education and treatment concepts both for the First and Second offenders.
• We believe that the seamless approach to education and treatment along with constant communication with the court is the best method in dealing with substance abuse referrals.
GENERAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAM
• AIA recognizes that up to 80% of all district court complaints are substance abuse related. Therefore we offer a general substance abuse education and treatment program covering all non-driver related cases.
• A twenty-week program is available to this clientele.
• The referral process follows our other programs.
• Requirements:
o One counseling session per week, 20 weeks
o Attendance at two AA meetings per week during the 20 week period
o One BRAINS at RISK session will be included during the 20 week period
o Two random urine screens during the 20 week period
• Fees:
o General Substance Abuse $599
o $200 down - $35 per week
o Payment plans available upon request

OUR PLEDGE TO THE COURT
American Institute of Addictions understands that the court system encounters problems placing individuals in non-related court programming, i.e., assessment, detox, outpatient detox, and one-on-one counseling. AIA will assist the court pro bono with this service.
